Although outside events provide the immediate context for this project, I am more interested in the way  outward and historical conflicts mirror the interior reality of loss, struggle, and quest for resolution. The outside makes its way inside.

Most of the images in this project convey tension through sharp contrast between a dystopian industrial background and other pictorial elements. The techniques associated with this project and deemed suitable for this aesthetic are montage, multiple exposure, camera movement, creative use of white balance, blend modes and various colour shifts.
